Freyberger makes Gönrgy kebabs and burgers
Marcel Eris, better known as Montanablack, is releasing two new varieties of his energy drink and Freyberger is using it to create two new dishes. Montanablack is one of the biggest Twitch streamers from Germany and launched his Gönrgy brand last year. Numerous product tests, reaction videos and other reviews have sprung up and flooded the internet.
We as a butcher also took a closer look at the product last year and even made sausage from it. The video is available here .
Gönrgy-Koch Freyberger
There are now two new varieties of Gönrgy on the market: Arctic Ice and Cactus Kick. Arctic Ice is said to have the taste of ice candy and Cactus Kick the taste of prickly pear. The new varieties also contain no sugar.
World champion butcher and meat sommelier Dirk Freyberger tries the new Gönrgy varieties and decides what to make with them. He quickly thinks of what exactly would go well with Kaktus Kick and he immediately has an idea for Arctic Ice. He records the entire tasting in a short video .
The Gönrgy-Döner
The butcher uses cactus kick to create a yogurt-Gönrgy sauce that goes well with the house-made Dönakäs . The Dönakäs is a meat loaf that tastes like kebab and is made from 100% beef. Of course, the kebab roll, lettuce, tomatoes and cucumbers are also included.
Freyberger prepares the Dönakäs on the Monolith ceramic grill . At 160 °C for an hour, the Dönakäs is ready to be baked. It can also be done in the oven, of course.
Now assemble the Gönrgy kebab with the ingredients and try it. "I prefer to eat the kebab plain," says the meat sommelier about this experiment. If you want to know more about it, you should watch this video .
The Gönrgy Burger
For Arctic Ice, Freyberger is enthusiastic about a burger. He uses our own burger patties , our hand-made bacon and of course our burger buns , as well as cheddar cheese. The butcher uses the energy drink to make a grape-onion-gourmet chutney. He grills the burger patties and bacon on the Monolith charcoal grill .
The patty needs about three to five minutes on both sides over indirect heat. Important: After turning the patties, immediately place the bacon on top and then enclose it in the cheese prison.
In the meantime, fry the burger buns in butter in a pan. As soon as everything is ready, put the burger together and try it. "Awesome burger," says the Nuremberg chef. The exact reaction and the recipe can be found in this video .
