The farmer's pan with bratwurst is a hearty dish that is both easy to prepare and incredibly delicious. In this recipe, spicy bratwurst is combined with fresh vegetables such as peppers, leeks and potatoes to create a hearty and tasty meal

We use our European Championship Bratwurst for this recipe. It is seasoned with black sesame, black pepper, red Peppadew fruits and golden turmeric. This gives the Bratwurst a spicy, tangy note and a unique look, in the colors black, red and gold. The perfect Bratwurst to cheer on the German national team during the European Championship games.

Simple and quick preparation

Preparing a hearty farmer's pan with egg and sausage is very easy: First heat the pan, peel the potatoes, cut them into slices and fry them. Then chop the vegetables and add them. Finely dice the bacon and cut the sausage into small pieces, put everything in the pan and fry for a few minutes until the ingredients are cooked. Finally, pour two eggs over it and mix everything together. Season with salt and pepper and the spicy farmer's pan is ready. If you like, you can garnish it with a little parsley. The farmer's pan is best served hot and fresh from the pan, that way it tastes particularly delicious.

versatility and leftover utilization

The farmer's pan is not only easy to prepare, but also a very versatile dish. You can add or replace different vegetables depending on your preference. If you would rather use onions or spring onions instead of leeks, that's no problem. You don't have any peppers left in the house and just use paprika powder instead? That's also possible. Simply adapt your ingredients and spices to your personal taste.

Our European Championship bratwursts can also be replaced with alternatives after the European Football Championship. Franconian bratwursts are also well suited for this; they are available from us all year round and perfectly complement the rustic taste. For cheese lovers, we have the Cheesy Gonzales in our range. This is seasoned with Peppadew and Cheddar and gives the dish a fruity and spicy note. If you prefer vegetarian, then simply leave out the bacon and go for our vegetarian bratwurst .

This dish is also a great way to use up leftovers, as you can use any vegetables and any type of meat. So if you have potatoes left over from the day before or grilled sausages, you don't have to throw them away - you can use them wonderfully in this recipe.
