We use our European Championship Bratwurst for this recipe. It is seasoned with black sesame, black pepper, red Peppadew fruits and golden turmeric. This gives the Bratwurst a spicy, tangy note and a unique look, in the colors black, red and gold. The perfect Bratwurst to cheer on the German national team during the European Championship games.

Quick and easy recipe

To prepare bratwurst in puff pastry, you only need a few ingredients: sausages , bacon , fresh puff pastry and egg. First, the dough needs to be rolled out and cut into strips. These strips are then placed on the bacon. Then the bratwurst is wrapped in puff pastry and bacon in a spiral shape. The sausage does not need to be fried. Then brush the puff pastry with beaten egg yolk and then bake everything on a baking tray in a preheated oven or on a pizza stone in the grill for around 15 minutes until golden brown, until the dough is nice and crispy and the sausage is cooked.
