men's muffins

Savory muffins - a delicious snack for the football party

If you prefer something savoury to something sweet and don't want to miss out on meat in your baked goods, we have the perfect recipe for you. You only need a few ingredients for these muffins made from fresh bratwurst and they're quick to prepare. Ideal for preparing them for the next football evening and serving them fresh as a snack at the game.

In this recipe we use our European Championship Bratwurst , which is only available during the European Football Championship. It is seasoned with black sesame, black pepper, red Peppadew fruits and golden turmeric. This gives the Bratwurst a spicy, tangy note and a unique look, in the colors black, red and gold. The perfect Bratwurst to cheer on the German national team during the European Championship games.

cheese core instead of chocolate

No sweet, sugary mush, these are real muffins for men. You only need four ingredients: fresh sausages , day-old bread rolls, eggs and cheese. Remove the skin from the raw sausage and mix it with the bread rolls and eggs in a bowl and knead it into a smooth dough. Cut the cheese into even cubes. This will be the centerpiece of our muffin. Then portion the dough and add a cube of cheese to each one. Form even balls out of it, making sure that the cheese is in the middle. Put these dough balls in a muffin tin. You can sprinkle them with a little salt and sugar if you like. Once the muffin tin is full, put it in the preheated oven or grill. Now all you have to do is bake it for 25-30 minutes and you can enjoy the spicy muffins and cheer on the football game.

A muffin as versatile as our bratwurst

Even if the European Football Championship is over, you don't have to miss out on this tasty snack. The recipe can easily be adapted with other bratwurst variants. Each bratwurst specialty gives the dish its own touch. So if you prefer the classic bratwurst taste, you should definitely try the recipe with our Franconian bratwurst . These are available in our shop all year round and are popular in every season. For cheese lovers, we recommend the Käsespätzlebratwurst , which is refined with Emmental cheese, spaetzle and black pepper, or the Cheesy Gonzales with cheddar, peppadew and jalapenos. If beer isn't enough of a drink for you, then the beer bratwurst is an excellent ingredient for the muffin. Our lamb bratwurst and our beef bratwurst are not only delicious, but also the perfect alternative for anyone who doesn't eat pork. Of course, you can also use pure minced meat instead of bratwurst and season it yourself as you like. In our stores you will always get freshly prepared minced meat.
