wraps with bratwurst

The slightly different bratwurst enjoyment

We all know about bratwurst in a bun, but have you ever tried it in a wrap? This rather unusual snack is quick to prepare and at least as delicious as the well-known bratwurst roll.

We prepare the bratwurst wrap in this recipe with our European Championship bratwurst , which is only available during the European Football Championship. It is seasoned with black sesame, black pepper, red Peppadew fruits and golden turmeric. This gives the bratwurst a spicy, tangy note and a unique look, in the colors black, red and gold. The perfect bratwurst to cheer on during the European Championship games.

Easy preparation with few ingredients

You only need a few ingredients for the bratwurst wraps. To make it quick, you can simply use ready-made wheat tortillas. Otherwise, you will need some lettuce, fresh tomatoes, a cucumber, a few slices of bacon and of course our EM bratwurst . For the sauce, mix mustard and mayonnaise. Spread this on the tortillas. Then cut the vegetables into small pieces and the lettuce into thin strips. Meanwhile, fry the bacon in the pan until golden brown. Then add the bratwurst to the pan or grill on the grill for 3-5 minutes on each side. When everything is ready, spread the vegetables on the wraps, crumble the bacon over them and add the chopped bratwurst . You can season everything to taste with salt and pepper before rolling up the wrap. Now all you have to do is bite into it and enjoy.

According to your personal taste

It's easy to adapt the wraps to your personal preferences. If you want more vegetables, just use whatever you like. How about onions or peppers, for example? There are no limits to your imagination. Instead of mustard and mayonnaise, you can also use yogurt as a sauce to give the wraps a lighter character.

The bratwursts can also be replaced with other sausage specialties. Instead of the seasonal EM bratwursts , you can also use our Franconian bratwurst or Nuremberg bratwurst , which you can find in our range all year round. If these aren't unusual enough for you, then try our Cheesy Gonzales , which is a bratwurst seasoned with cheddar, peppadew and jalapenos. If you don't eat pork, then we recommend using our dryaged beef bacon instead of bacon and choosing our beef bratwurst or lamb bratwurst . This wrap is also delicious without bacon and with our vegetarian bratwurst .
