Halloween Pasta with Spinach and Bratwurst

Spooky and tasty recipe

At the end of October it's time to get scared and celebrate Halloween again. To ensure that the food at your Halloween party is not only spooky but also super tasty, we have the perfect recipe for you: Black spaghetti with a bright green spinach sauce and our jet-black Halloween bratwurst , which has been refined with cuttlefish, pumpkin and mountain cheese.

Spookily good - very easy to prepare

This Halloween recipe is really quick and super easy, so you have even more time to dress up and celebrate. First, cook the spaghetti al dente in a pot of salted water according to the instructions on the packet. While the pasta is cooking, you can start preparing the sauce. To do this, peel an onion, chop it up and cut the sausages into pieces about 2 cm in size. Then heat olive oil in a pan and add the sausages and onion. When everything is browned, deglaze it with beer and pour in cream. Now you have to let it simmer for a few minutes. Meanwhile, stir in the spinach powder. At the end, just season with salt and pepper and serve with the pasta at your Halloween party. We recommend pumpkin soup as a starter.

Halloween Pasta - this is how it can be done

With just a few ingredients, this recipe is not only delicious, but it also offers the perfect basis for adapting it to your individual taste. With garlic and chili flakes, for example, it becomes a little spicier. Or how about a blood-red tomato as a visual highlight? Just add whatever you fancy. Instead of spinach powder and cream, you can also use frozen creamed spinach.

For an even more spooky touch, the Halloween spaghetti recipe can be decorated with dark decorations. There are no limits to your creativity. Eyeballs made of cheese and black olives are popular for this. To do this, simply place small mozzarella balls on your prepared plate and place an olive slice on top of each one. If you want something a little more extreme, garnish the finished dish with skewers made of pumpkin and chicken hearts. We have a recipe for that here . Have fun trying it out and happy Halloween!
