INGREDIENTS FOR 2 SERVINGS

5 Franconian sausages 2 small onions
1 carrot
1 clove of garlic
1 teaspoon tomato paste
250g cocktail tomatoes
500g strained tomatoes
200g pasta
2 mozzarella
Sugar
Salt
pepper

PREPARATION

  1. Cut the onion, garlic and carrots into small cubes. Halve the cocktail tomatoes.
  2. Heat a tablespoon of olive oil in the pan and fry the onions until translucent. Then add the carrots and fry briefly before adding the garlic. Add 1 teaspoon of sugar and a tablespoon of tomato paste and fry briefly. Add the cocktail tomatoes and strained tomatoes and cook for 10 minutes at a medium heat. Meanwhile, season with pepper, salt, oregano and, if desired, a little chili powder.
  3. Cut one mozzarella into small cubes. The other into thin slices.
  4. Place the pasta in a baking dish and add most of the tomato sauce and the mozzarella cubes.
  5. Now form the sausages into balls and spread them over the pasta. Add the remaining sauce and place the mozzarella slices on top.
  6. Now place the casserole in the oven at 180°C top and bottom heat for approx. 30 minutes.
