INGREDIENTS FOR 2 SERVINGS
5 Franconian sausages 2 small onions1 carrot
1 clove of garlic
1 teaspoon tomato paste
250g cocktail tomatoes
500g strained tomatoes
200g pasta
2 mozzarella
Sugar
Salt
pepper
PREPARATION
- Cut the onion, garlic and carrots into small cubes. Halve the cocktail tomatoes.
- Heat a tablespoon of olive oil in the pan and fry the onions until translucent. Then add the carrots and fry briefly before adding the garlic. Add 1 teaspoon of sugar and a tablespoon of tomato paste and fry briefly. Add the cocktail tomatoes and strained tomatoes and cook for 10 minutes at a medium heat. Meanwhile, season with pepper, salt, oregano and, if desired, a little chili powder.
- Cut one mozzarella into small cubes. The other into thin slices.
- Place the pasta in a baking dish and add most of the tomato sauce and the mozzarella cubes.
- Now form the sausages into balls and spread them over the pasta. Add the remaining sauce and place the mozzarella slices on top.
- Now place the casserole in the oven at 180°C top and bottom heat for approx. 30 minutes.
