INGREDIENTS FOR 2 SERVINGS

3 Franconian sausages 150 ml beer
50 g brown sugar
1/2 tbsp Dijon mustard
1/2 tablespoon chopped parsley
1 teaspoon cornstarch

PREPARATION

  1. Grill or fry the sausages and cut them into pieces about 1 cm in size. Then chop the parsley.
  2. Meanwhile, bring the beer and brown sugar to a boil in a pan over high heat and then simmer over medium heat for about 10 to 15 minutes. When the sauce has reduced and thickened slightly, add the mustard and stir.
  3. Mix the cornstarch with a little beer or water and pour it into the pan. Then let the whole thing boil for about a minute.
  4. Now pour the sauce over the bratwurst pieces and sprinkle everything with the chopped parsley.
