For optimal storage, we recommend storing between 0 and 4 °C.

We source our pork from the Nuremberg metropolitan region. To ensure the best possible quality and guarantee of origin, we slaughter our pigs at our uncle Hans Rössner's in Uehlfeld. He sources the pigs from farmers in his immediate area.

With us you get more for your money, we promise! Because Freyberger's Plus guarantee is included with us! Most of our steaks, sausages and chickens are heavier than stated in the product description. And all of this without any additional charges, as you are used to from other shops. So you usually get more goods from us than you actually pay for!

Chop from Iberico pork from the region

Meat from Ibercio pork has become increasingly popular in recent years. Iberian pigs originally come from southwest Spain and parts of Portugal. They were bred by Roman legionaries and have a long tradition in Spain. Its special taste and unique grain are due to the animals' diet.

What does Iberico pork taste like?

The meat of Iberian pork has a distinctive, nutty taste. It gets this because the animals feed mainly on cork acorns, which they find on the floor of the green forests of Spain. But we are also known in Germany for our oak forests and so the animals can be kept wonderfully in the Nuremberg region. That's why we source our meat exclusively from the region.

Preparing Iberico Chops: It's That Easy

Our Iberico cutlet is easy to prepare in a pan or on the grill. To do this, fry or grill it for about three to four minutes on each side. Then simply season with salt and pepper - done! Steamed vegetables, salad or a creamy potato gratin are good side dishes.
