Which Giesser Premiumcut knife for which task
The handle design is particularly ergonomic and sits well in the hand. The knife is equally suitable for right-handed and left-handed people. The BBQ No. 1 is clearly the star of the Premiumcut knife series. It is suitable for everyday and normal kitchen work due to its sheer size. But the Chefs No. 1 is clearly ahead here. It is the all-rounder of the series and feels very comfortable in the kitchen and on the cutting board. Who hasn't been there: the bread knife has waves but still doesn't cut anything. With the Wave No. 1, that's a thing of the past. Because it is extremely sharp and very suitable for bread and rolls. But it also cuts nightshade plants such as tomatoes with flying colors. Unfortunately, we cannot offer our special sharpening time guarantee for the Wave.

What makes this Giesser Premiumcut knife series so special Knife Blade & Handle

The knife blades are made from a particularly high-alloyed chrome-molybdenum special steel (1.4110). A hardness of 57 HRC is achieved using the most modern vacuum hardening process. This creates a knife blade that has excellent cutting properties and maximum edge retention. The fine polish and the final sharpening by a master craftsman guarantee long-lasting pleasure in cutting.
The uniqueness of the blades is further enhanced by the exceptionally attractive handle variants. Various handle materials (wood, micarta and high-quality acrylic), which have been carefully selected, and the processing by our experienced employees make each knife a particularly valuable masterpiece.
We stand on wood - Thuja – Tree of Life
We offer all of our knives in the Giesser Premiumcut series with this fine wood. The handles are made of very old and particularly durable Thuja root wood. Thuja is often referred to as the tree of life. And so are the handles - each handle has a very special grain and beauty. Each of our knives is therefore unique.
