Our beef nuts have a shelf life of at least 5 days after arrival or collection at a maximum temperature of 6°C.
For optimal storage, we recommend storing between 0 and 4 °C.

We only use heifers and ox meat. Never young bulls. Our cattle are slaughtered in the butcher's slaughterhouse in Fürth-Burgfarrnbach and come from farmers in the slaughterhouse's catchment area, mostly from the Nuremberg region. We sometimes even have personal contact with our fatteners in order to continually improve the quality of the meat and the way our animals are kept.

Braising, cooking or frying?

Roast beef is a classic of German cuisine. But what is the best way to prepare it? We recommend using our beef roast and braising or frying it. The best way to prepare beef roast is in a roasting pan with clarified butter and fry it until golden brown on all sides. Then add onions and pour meat broth over the roast. Beef nut from our own butchery

In our butcher's shop, several cattle are butchered every week. This is important to us because it is the only way we can say exactly where our meat comes from and we have the opportunity to carry out the entire ripening process in a controlled manner on site. We wet-age our beef. What is special about us is that we dry-age our animals for at least seven days after slaughter and before vacuum-aging. This gives the beef a special meaty aroma and makes it wonderfully tender.
