Easter is just around the corner

Only a few weeks left until Easter 2022. The last two years have been very stressful for many families. This year, things seem to be relaxing. And so is Easter! At Easter, you can finally meet up with friends and family again and watch the children looking for Easter nests. In Finland and the Czech Republic, people hit their backs with birch sticks at Easter. We don't want to be quite that rustic. But we also have long-established customs and traditions at Easter.

Easter lamb

The Easter lamb tradition goes back to the ancient Jews, who slaughtered a lamb at their Passover and ate it. Jesus also celebrated Passover shortly before his crucifixion. This tradition is still carried on by many people today. While the slaughtering of the lamb is left to others in the 21st century, many people still enjoy the classic roast lamb at Easter.
So that you can spend the valuable time at Easter with your loved ones, we have come up with something special: our " Lamm Lässig" packages ! Like the guaranteed success packages for Christmas, the "Lamm Lässig" packages are pre-cooked and therefore only need a short time in your oven. This year we have 2 different pieces of roast lamb for you. The smaller version is the roast lamb from the shoulder for 2-3 people. Baked ham an Easter delicacy

Baked ham for Easter is almost as traditional as roast lamb. Our homemade baked ham is marinated in herbs and salt and aged weeks before Easter. This is the only way we can guarantee the unique taste that you want to enjoy at Easter. We offer two different versions:

• baked ham from the underside of the Uehlfelder Edelschwein
• smoked baked ham for baking yourself from the underside of the Uehlfelder Edelschwein
